#EldarMilitary Eldar Military: ICano

ICano is the leader of the Eldar Military, acting as a General would in any other army.
This role is a highly respected one as ICano was not a position chosen by
The Assembly, but rather was chosen by the Gods themselves. It is even believed that ICano was the first elf to originally enter Álfröðull.

As the head of the Eldar Military, ICano is responsible for its overall
workings.
These responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Overseeing the Legions of each Chapter.
• Overseeing the Eldarnórin Navy.
• Co-ordinating between the Legions.
• Assisting in on field diplomacy.
• Reviewing the Legions, the Militant Orders as well as individual Hestos. Reviewing current formations and tactics for each Pillar.
• Approving training regimes.
• Approving new advancements in tactics and military technology. Approving the expenditures and payments of each Legion.

When on field, ICano acts as a Hesto, taking command of all Eldar on field.
However he reserves the right to pass command on to a Hesto that is
present.

ICano also has the right to name his successor/heir.
This heir is referred to as ICundu, the Prince.
This is done in case ICano should die IC.
This also works for OoC if ICano wishes to no longer hold command, or something happens to them in which they can no longer run the Warband. Upon ICano's death/departure, their heir is given the rank of ICano and all responsibility that goes with it.
