The Legate is the local representative of Civil Matters within an Eldar

Legates act in a similar fashion within The Devoted to how the Officers work within the National Legions.

The Legate is responsible for maintaining and updating a list of active and passive citizens via an excel document for their Chapter.

The Legate is an elected official voted for by the Citizens of their Chapter. The Legate's term is a period of 12 months. After said period the position of Legate is voted upon within one month after the next National
Assembly.
Citizens can be put up for nominations to be Legate by any members of their Eldar Chapter.
However this nomination must be accepted by the nominated Citizen to be put forward in the actual election.
